Обучение за рубежом: Wasatch Academy wins Best of State for Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, the Utah Best of State Organization has named Wasatch Academy as its 2011 Best of State in the category of Private Schools K-12. The Best of State Organization exists to recognize excellence in individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the state, thereby raising the expectations for the standards and practices of others.

There are more than 118 private schools in the state of Utah. Wasatch Academy is delighted and honored to win the coveted and highly competitive distinction of Best of State for 2011 among a pool of so many. Wasatch Academy currently enrolls 263 students, a number which has steadily increased under the leadership and guidance of Head of School, Joe Loftin, who has been working tirelessly for twenty three years to help Wasatch Academy reach its full potential. Earning the distinction of Best of State is certainly an affirmation of Mr. Loftin’s perseverance and vision.

Mr. Loftin’s response was, naturally, one of great joy. “It’s a wonderful honor to be recognized for the wonderful school we are,” said Loftin. “This is a beautiful state to have a high quality college preparatory boarding school. We’ve benefitted from the setting for 136 years… Our current success in having the largest enrollment in our distinguished history is based upon our ability to respond fully to the needs of the global market.”


The Best of State Organization recognized all of its award recipients at a black-tie gala in the Grand Ballroom of the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday, June 4, 2011.
